On 19 April 2016, a kindergarten modernised by the Stiftung Hilfe für Armenien was inaugurated in Aygehovit, in north-eastern Armenia.

The “Norbert Neininger Kindergarten” was opened at a festive ceremony attended by members of the foundation board and donors, local political figures and the media – and, above all, by more than 100 cheerful children.

There were speeches, music and a generously laid table. The children sang for the guests and thanked them with handmade paper decorations for the new playground, which they were able to test thoroughly.

Schaffhauser Fernsehen, the local television station in Schaffhausen, covered the opening ceremony, with impressions of the celebration and statements from members of the foundation board.
