Aygehovit Water Supply
Aygehovit, Tavush Province, north-eastern Armenia
The Stiftung Hilfe für Armenien is returning to Aygehovit – the village in north-eastern Armenia where it has already built a day clinic, a kindergarten and a first water supply. The next project is now under way: building a water supply for around 300 residents.
Around 5 kilometres of new pipes will be laid – a project costing around CHF 100,000. As with earlier projects, the foundation is working with local construction firms and suppliers to keep the economic benefit within the community.
Aygehovit lies in the far north-east of Armenia, a long way from the capital, Yerevan. The further people live from Yerevan, the poorer their living conditions tend to be. Clean, reliable water cannot be taken for granted in this region – with this project, the foundation is laying another important foundation for people’s everyday lives.
Please help us make this project a reality as well.
